For small and peaceful town there are surprisingly many activities and events. Especially during middle summer Somero blooms, streets are filled with people and there is something to do every day. During summer saturdays we recommend you to visit the Somerniemi Marketplace for shopping and nearby Hiidenlinna Castle and Sisumetsä Adventure Park for 200 meter cable slide. If the nature speaks to you we highly recommend the Iso-Valkee hiking trail, berry picking and stopping campfire to enjoy coffee from the pot.
